Designed by architect Bruce Graham. The famed architect Bruce Graham was commissioned to erect this monumental project that forever changed the city’s skyline. Its construction began in 1991, for the occasion of the 1992 Olympic Games in Barcelona, but it didn’t open its doors as Hotel Arts until 1994.

Hotel Arts. Construction was finished in 1994 and it is an example of high-tech architecture. It is 154 metres tall and was designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill with Colombian Architect Bruce Graham as partner in charge. The design team was led by Senior Architect Miguel Ruano, with Dr Agustí Obiol as local Architect of Record.
